Oblique Strategy – Generative Design
I admire jet lines in space. As the jet movements in sky have a strategy to avoid collision. I marked the jet lines and the time it passed through a sheet and combined the jet lines to create a jet line collision. The marks in the space inspired me to generate design through movement.
I chose to generate design from a football game doing anologue markings of the movements in an A4 paper using crayons and colour pencils.

Tactile Paving in London Transport
Tactile paving (also called truncated domes, detectable warnings, Tactile Ground Surface Indicators, detectable warning surfaces) is a system of textured ground surface indicators found on many footpaths, stairs and train station platforms to assist pedestrians who are visually impaired.
Tactile warnings provide a distinctive surface pattern of "truncated domes" or cones (which are small domes or cones that have had their tops cut off, or truncated) or "truncated bars" detectable by long cane or underfoot which are used to alert people with visual impairments of their approach to streets and hazardous drop-offs. HAPPY DUCK TOUR
Hi,
Thanks to London Duck Tour for organizing this trip..It was a lovely sunday evening with fellow London Ambassadors.We had an exciting trip down to enjoy the city of London in road and river.
The bus turns into boat thats the interesting part. It was complete 75 minutes of enjoyment.The running commentary was funny and informative.
The ambience was brilliant as it was drizzling,the cold breeze and tide adds chilling effect to the trip.
This was a refreshing trip as we all finished our Exams and Project.

Financial Life Line
Good day with fellow ambassadors in the Westminster Business School Visit. This is quiet new to me as it is about Finance and Marketing.
It was interesting to know the facts about the Global Financial Data Market.
We had a exciting Visual Presentation in Bloomberg Terminal.
This gives the info about Annual Growth Rate of Banks around the World.
Economic Fluctuation in the globe and predicting the Recession in the European Market.
Interesting to know the bankruptcy in the growth line data.
This terminal gives the weather report and updates about recent news in the monitor so,every thing is up to date.p
It compares the growth rate of countries and the cost of the Oil Rate in different market in the World.
It shows the rate of interest of the Bank.

Charity or Thrift Shop
London is not so costly.There are some important things to look around.
We can get clothes,books,stationery items,designer materials,art related materials,gifts etc.
Thrift shops are retail establishment run by charitable organization to raise money.
Charity shops are a type of social enterprise.
They usually sell mainly used goods donated by members of the public, and are often staffed by volunteers.
Because the items for sale were obtained for free, and business costs are low, the items can be sold at competitive prices.
After costs are paid, all remaining income from the sales is used in accord with the organization's stated charitable purpose.
Costs include purchase and/or depreciation of fixtures (clothing racks, bookshelves, counters, etc.), operating costs (maintenance, municipal service fees, electricity, telephone, limited advertising) and the building lease or mortgage. Source (Wikipedia )
Our course module Creative Practice is based on the theme Thrift. we use recycled things in our project or second hand goods.

We have a very good recycling system in our University.
This system is followed all through out London.
Recycling facts and figures
UK households produced 30.5 million tonnes of waste in 2003/04, of which 17% was collected for recycling (source: defra.gov.uk). This figure is still quite low compared to some of our neighbouring EU countries, some recycling over 50% of their waste. There is still a great deal of waste which could be recycled that ends up in landfill sites which is harmful to the environment.
Recycling is an excellent way of saving energy and conserving the environment. Did you know that:
1 recycled tin can would save enough energy to power a television for 3 hours.
1 recycled glass bottle would save enough energy to power a computer for 25 minutes.
1 recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power a 60-watt light bulb for 3 hours.
70% less energy is required to recycle paper compared with making it from raw materials.
INTERESTING FACTS
Up to 60% of the rubbish that ends up in the dustbin could be recycled.
The unreleased energy contained in the average dustbin each year could power a television for 5,000 hours.
The largest lake in the Britain could be filled with rubbish from the UK in 8 months.
On average, 16% of the money you spend on a product pays for the packaging, which ultimately ends up as rubbish.
As much as 50% of waste in the average dustbin could be composted.
Up to 80% of a vehicle can be recycled.

Aluminum
24 million tonnes of aluminium is produced annually, 51,000 tonnes of which ends up as packaging in the UK.
If all cans in the UK were recycled, we would need 14 million fewer dustbins.
£36,000,000 worth of aluminium is thrown away each year.
Aluminium cans can be recycled and ready to use in just 6 weeks.
GLASS
Each UK family uses an average of 500 glass bottles and jars annually.
The largest glass furnace produces over 1 million glass bottles and jars per day.
Glass is 100% recyclable and can be used again and again.
Glass that is thrown away and ends up in landfills will never decompose.
PAPER
Recycled paper produces 73% less air pollution than if it was made from raw materials.
12.5 million tonnes of paper and cardboard are used annually in the UK.
The average person in the UK gets through 38kg of newspapers per year.
It takes 24 trees to make 1 ton of newspaper.

275,000 tonnes of plastic are used each year in the UK, that’s about 15 million bottles per day.
Most families throw away about 40kg of plastic per year, which could otherwise be recycled.
The use of plastic in Western Europe is growing about 4% each year.

The ambience in the bar is totally fun and entertaining. The Spanish red wine is too good. The bar is too small,the old style like look is brilliant.
